The MD K12 TLF was started in 2017 to facilitate the direct communication and collaboration between the twenty-four (24) Maryland public school districts, in the areas of Information Technology Operations & Security.
The Maryland K12 Technology Leadership Forum has five Board Officers, elected by all 24 Administrative Voting Members. Board Officers service serve a 2 year term, after which a new election is held. The positions of Board Chair position is filled by the previous term's Vice-Chair. The Vice-Chair, and Secretary are elected via Board vote. The outgoing Board Chair is invited to participate as a general Board Member for the term following their tenure as Chair.
